Metro de Madrid
Metro de Madrid is beginning a new station remodeling process for the stations that were left pending in previous phases of the Station remodeling plan that accompanied the extensive expansion plans carried out in 1999, 2003, and 2007 by Metro de Madrid.
Iconic stations such as Gran Vía, Alonso Martínez, or Méndez Álvaro were left pending for future remodeling projects due to the scope of the actions to be carried out.
The purpose of this renovation plan called the “Station Plan 2017-2022” is not only to reform the stations in terms of aesthetics and civil works, but also to remodel the systems and installations that provide service and that need to be replaced or upgraded due to technological obsolescence. The Station Plan includes the remodeling of a total of 23 railway stations during the period in question.
The systems and installations that are installed in the Metro de Madrid stations will be the object of the renovation and engineering work that Inse Rail will carry out under this contract, including the following:
