The Madrid-Levante High Speed Line extends from the Puerta de Atocha in Madrid to the east of the peninsula, with branches that terminate at the cities of Valencia, Alicante, Cartagena and Almería. It has a total length of 955 kilometers and is the principal access on which the high-speed connections between the southeastern part of the peninsula and the central highlands are supported. It consists of standard gage double track and is suitable for maximum speeds of 350 km/h.

For this High Speed Line, Inse Rail was responsible for designing the construction project for the electrification installations, tunnel lighting, point heating, and the preparation of the maintenance specifications for the Valencia - La Encina - Alicante section of the High Speed Line, more than 192 km long.
